Tinubu Celebrates Completion Of Critical Infrastructure Projects In Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday celebrated the completion of critical infrastructure projects across the country, crediting his administration.

During the Presidential Commissioning Ceremony of the full-scope development of the Outer Southern Expressway [OSEX] from Villa Roundabout to Ring Road 1 (RR1) in Abuja, the president noted that the project has been completed in collaboration and partnership that is beyond political and other affiliations.

The president pointed out that when leaders unite and focus on common goals, irrespective of their political differences or personal agendas, Nigeria can build great infrastructure projects, like the OSEX, which was completed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) administration.

"The completion of this project is not only a piece of engineering but a testament to the power of collaboration and partnership. It is a shining example of what we can accomplish when we work together towards a common goal, transcending political divide and personal interest for the greater good of our nation," the president said, as per the State House website.

Tinubu called this project another important milestone achieved for his Renewed Hope administration. He went on to thank Honorable Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and his team for "quickening development and giving the residents of Abuja renewed hope."

He emphasized that such infrastructure projects will enhance the quality of life for all Nigerians.

"What is unfolding in our capital is a testament to what can be achieved with our government's renewed hope agenda of positive transformation for the FCT and indeed Nigeria," the president said. "This ambitious undertaking holds profound significance for the FCT and its residents."

Tinubu said that the expansion of the Outer-Southern Motorway will help get rid of traffic congestion and improve transportation. Moreover, it will also stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities.

The president commended the FCT Minister and his team for their excellent work on infrastructure, urban planning, and sustainable development in Abuja, explaining the importance of leadership and how crucial it is for the country's progress.

While the president praised the officials, he also noted that the work is far from over and there are still many challenges to overcome. He noted that with determination, perseverance and a shared sense of purpose, there is no limit to what Nigeria can achieve.
